This tee has been designed to capture our love for both Nakata and the vintage 1998/99 Perugia shirt. Following his participation in the 1998 World Cup in France, Nakata was recruited by Perugia to play in Italy's Serie A, becoming only the second Japanese player to feature in the Italian top-flight after Kazuyoshi Miura's stint with Genoa four years earlier. Hidetoshi would go on to play 55 times for the Italian outfit and during his debut season he recorded his highest single-season goal tally, scoring a total of 10 goals.
