The elastic waist is kept in check with Kapital's signature sashiko drawstringmud-dyed and embroidered for an incredibly detailed addition which serves a largely utilitarian purpose. The thickness of the fabric adds extra depth to the pants, especially with the knee overlays which are secured by oversized stitches which almost look like the dashes of a pen to paper.
